Confused Yet

Would you like to know about the beast who controls my heart?
Would you like to get a glimpse into the freak behind my thoughts?
I wonder if you can handle knowing about the demon I have been hiding.

Is my smile innocent?
Are my eyes kind?
Do you think my words are sweet?

I have always wondered about this.
What is it you see when you look at me?
What is it you hear when I speak?

Do my words confuse you or is it the demon in your heart?
Did my smile invite you over or was it your own beastly thoughts?
I don’t want to know about the freak you have been hiding.

Tell me, are you confused yet?

I think this is marvelous. We all have a “freak” inside us that we mayor may not reveal.

That is exactly how I feel. There is always a part of ourselves that we don't reveal.
