Confrontation

The folds of arrogance loosen and spill,

Though draped upon the shade of restraint.

?

Relentless flare of crimson defiance,

Met with the cool stubbornness of blue.

?

Tomorrow tangles like wild vines,

Today wields a blade of bitter resolve.
