Be Kind Quotes In a world where you can be anything, be kind. | Kindness quotes, Being kind quotes positivity, Inspirational quotes

"Inspiration Quote #3 - Forget injuries, never forget kindness."
My mom was the kindest person I ever knew, she and my dad instilled this quality in me: and though at times difficult I was kindly as I grew, I appreciate that those teachings were the key; now, I am a friend faithful and true ! Like two streams flowing and connected, all relationships need a meeting of one on one: any conflict needs attention to be corrected, a get together talk will clear the issues until done; gently, a solution with each respected ! My dad told me to walk away from a fight, he said the stronger person should turn away: and no matter what always be kind and polite. create a confluence of talking as the way; and by being kind I can sleep at night ! It does not cost anything to be kind, and is healthier than holding onto strife: not all will like me so to that I am resigned, I remove the hurt by removing the knife: and let kindness bring me peace of mind !

You are absolutely right, dear Constance. Holding grudge to people will destroy our peace of mind. By forgiving, we turn our enemies into friends. The lessons of forgiveness and kindness you learnt from your parents will definitely keep you in the right track. This beautifully rhyming poem contains valuable lessons of conduct.

Valsa, thank you for the wonderful comment, as an adult I truly appreciate the lessons my parents taught me about being kind and polite, and having compassion for all people, and every living thing, plants, flowers, animals, birds, fish etc etc, Constance

So true dear constance, in a world that is bitter and cold we can only be kind and it costs nothing to be kind, a language it is, shared from heart to heart, even the blind and deaf can feel kindness. I really love this poem and love how youv used the river line too. Your parents do sound like wise and beautiful souls that taught you so well. I absolutely loved this one! Best wishes for the contest dear constance! A fave this is for me. Sending you light always

fabulous start, Constance. Your parents sound like mine--kind and full of integrity. Conflicts were discussed and resolved....no spanking, etc. We weren't allowed to hell at one another. Rather we learned to peacefully understand and negotiate through our differences. Looking forward to the end of this poem. Have a splendid evening, Sara

Sara, it was a slow start (so busy in my life) but I got it done, and thanks for the nice comment and sharing, my dad told me when I felt angry or hurt to take a break from the situation to cool down before saying anything and I usually said nothing after, hope you can come back to read the rest of my poem, Constance
