Confessions of a Shop-A-Holic
I have a purse in every shade
and style and size they ever made,
Or so it seems whenever I try
to fit them on shelves up ever so high.
They are my addiction, I know it's true.
I have at least seven in shades of blue.
Lately my tastes run in silver and gold.
I find one I like, consider it sold.
And tho' these purses, I buy more and more,
I never take with me when I head out the door.
A small wallet tucked into a pocket is all
I carry with me when I'm off to the mall.
But it's a safe bet that before I am done
I'll head home with a new purse, maybe just one,
Or two, or three, it remains to be seen.
I'm especially partial to purses in green.
Trying to justify them brings me to curses,
But this is my weakness, my penchant for purses.
