Confessions of a Renoir

Why do you stare so? I can see you, you know Appreciation is one thing but really… I’m just not in the mood today My back hurts And I’m a little hung-over! I guess I can’t blame you I am beautiful And my coloring is luminous But give a girl a break I never have any privacy It’s really not so bad I suppose Surrounded by beauty, Constant admiration A lesser work would kill for it Enough complaining, It’s back to work for me Sit still, look pretty, As if I had a choice! 8/15/17

By the way, I only wish as a girl that all I had to do was sit still and look pretty, but it gets harder to do with time and there is too much work around the house to be done. haha!! (I can sit still if I have a computer or tv in front of me). As you can see, I find your poem a fantastic conversation piece!
