Confession of a Newby Poet
Of all the words that I have shared,
With whoever would care to read.
Did they help you to get know me ?
As a poet, will I succeed ?
There's so much to learn about syllables
Am I writing a verse or a prose.
Is it a rhyme, a limerick or dedicated ode?
So much learning, to keep me on my toes.
My mind is swarming with new ideas,
Just need to figure where they fit.
I'll use the grammar checker too,
But mostly I'll use my wit !
