Condemned To Limbo

Winter approached

in hours of finality,

quelled midst midnight's

imperfectly lit enticement

of darkly notable

impressive spirits,

motioning a welcomed

goodbye gesture,

laying to rest

a chilled salutation,

as ghostly ambitions

commenced to play

a well articulated

empowering seduction,

chasing lullaby's softly

dreamt enchantment,

sleeping peaceably

unfurled beyond

destined reawakening,

condemned to limbo

well articulated... most certainly. What a wonderful, wordy, read.

It's a sort of hibernation, isn't it, Paloma? Whatever you do, and wherever you are, just know that I will be thinking of you :)

For me it seems that you need that alone time with the cat curled up by the heater or maybe its just my mood i read in it with the rain softly murmers outside. ( its summer down here)

A very interesting poem, Paloma. Although, I personally don't believe in purgatory, or in this case, limbo, I do love reading the imagined realness of it's existence. Like Dante's Inferno. This poem gives limbo a gracious, ethereal appearance. Excellent poem. Love and hugs to you, dear.

Well, it looks like someone has been released from this limbo sentence...perhaps for good behavior? :) Life feels like this at times, like running on ice, our feet move, our mind wants but we get nowhere fast. Nicely describe Paloma and welcome back. You have been missed here.

Life is wicked sometimes, getting in the way of poetry. :) I sure did miss you, thanks Chris.
