Concealed and Revealed

I knew long before I saw your face
Just how truly beautiful you must be
Still, though pictures show your beauty
It does not compare to that which is unseen
But, rather felt through your kindness
Through your words, through those things
Said and conveyed by your loving heart
A picture may say a thousand words
But, your thousand words, my friend, show more
Than your picture, as that beautiful face
Enshrouds the beauty of your mind and heart

Michael, this is lovely. Perception is key to finding love. You've demonstrated this beautifully. Respectfully, Donna
