Complicated Moons

they hid lies behind complicated moons, 'til constellations turned to dust & the sun vehemently objected, interceding on truth's behalf the earth did not split apart, merely splintered every tiny fragment of trust

Wonderful, symbolic work; love the imagery and deep sense of this piece. Great writing, Paloma! Yes, the sun hears everything both light and dark, and the universe is very much responsive to our souls--the truths and lies we harbor therein. If we want a healthy atmosphere to live in, we need to have healthy minds and hearts.

Oh those complicated moons...I wonder if the sun will shine and reflect a way through the moons revealing their lies..and what about fragments of trust..dust..Still between secrets and lies some honesty survives..I love your poem..Its full of layers to discover...WoW.

I think I'd like to tell you a few whispered lies. Lol Just joking. Nobody likes being lied to. Once that bond of trust has been broken in a relationship, it's pretty much doomed. Nicely penned, Paloma.

Yes, once the bond of trust is broken, it's pretty much furloughed. : P

Smartypants. :) Indeed, doomed and there's another word that begins with 'F' but I'm sort of a lady, so I won't say. ;)
