Complicated girl
COMPLICATED GIRL
I woke up to the sound of water,
splashing on the floor...
I wonder what's got into her now
I jumped up as quickly as I could,
leaping from the bed...
Hoping that she's still here somehow
Bridge
What's my life becoming,
Where'd it all go wrong,
Isn't it a grand illusion anyway?
Chorus
So I will try to understand,
she's a complicated girl...
a beautiful, but fractured mind
I know she needs a helping hand,
she's a complicated girl...
now I know why love is blind.
She calls from the railway station,
wondering where I am...
Seems we're living in two worlds apart!
She's gone like the wind again,
just where, I'll never know...
I hope one day she'll bring me back my heart
Bridge
What's my life becoming,
Where'd it all go wrong,
Isn't it a grand illusion anyway?
Chorus
So I will try to understand,
she's a complicated girl...
a beautiful, but fractured mind
I know she needs a helping hand,
she's a complicated girl...
now I know why love is blind.
She's gone like the wind again,
just where, I'll never know...
I hope one day she'll bring me back my heart
Repeat chorus and fade
