Competition With Myself

I am in competition
with no one
with the exception of
myself.

Sometimes I think
life would be easier
if I were
dumb.

Maybe
if I were ugly
people would be
nice.

I
wish people
could see my
heart.

Perhaps
they might
actually like
me.
