Compassion Has Gracious Eyes

No matter that we've never met,
Compassion radiates from afar.
Rippling outward, gathering strength,
Expanding across the oceans wide.
A warm light like a rising sun,
Gently touches grieving hearts.

Distant strangers, I empathize.
Compassion has gracious eyes
For your sorrows and your tears.
With time, may it soften grieving pains.

You have a beautiful heart.......it shines in this poem. It is hard not to feel compassion for the suffering that is in this world......even when we do not know the one who is in pain. this is lovely sentiment!
