Communion Before Community

the Bible is basically a narrative 
about communities
from Genesis to Revelations it reveals 
how as humans we need to be
in the Christian community its what binds us together
in that we all truly believe
that Jesus the Christ Our Messiah and Savior died
so that we could all live free
for its that inward transformation
the bedrock on which we stand
together in communion with each other
in remembrance of the Son of Man

communion before community
Jesus taught us the way
He preached, He did teach and reached into hearts 
whenever and wherever He prayed
for us to build each other up
as we also commune with God
in order to obtain and then maintain
a connection with Him in our hearts
now putting our spiritual priorities in order
so that we can maximally achieve
a state of mind in which we can find
a place where the peace of God we'll receive

Now able to unplug to be in step with God
in moments of serene sanctity
in order to stay connected to God
we need those times of total tranquility

just don't get it twisted
you need to comprehend
you don't need to jump thru hoops
to be connected to Him
now hold your horses 
you need to understand
that what you wear to worship God
will not sway His hand

God will place you on higher and solid ground
simply because in you 
a true faith has been found
now connected and by God protected
from the temptations of sin
as its not always about the dos & don'ts in life
its about staying in sync with Him

so lets travel deeper in covenant
sharing and exchanging on an intimate plane
intentional in our relationship with God
transformative and divinely rearranged
just don't ever forget to have times of solitude
so you can be reinforced and spiritually fortified
now re-strengthened and refilled with the Holy Spirit
most divinely amplified

communion before community 
requires solitude and spiritual seclusion
quiet moments with God
hushed enrollments of the heart
to develop godly conclusions

so lets pray prayers of worship
prayers of petition and prayers of praise as well
as we commune with God
with our community in our hearts
as we spiritually expand and excel
