Common Sense

Hello Common Sense 
I keep wondering how long it's been
No idea of where you went 
Sure am missing you my friend

Did you have enough of us
Catch the nearest goodbye bus
See you later, wish you luck
You're going to need it very much

Common Sense is it to late
To try and correct the mistakes we've made
Any way to way lay
The darkened day you went away

Now here we are out on our own
Feeling the pressures of all alone
Common Sense could you please come home
We're not doing so well since you've been gone
