Comming Soon

even though your dead and gone
my love for you holds on and on
between my ears and behind my eyes
you still live inside my mind
a loved ones kindness is hard to forget
memories bind us to our regrets
and yet not wish or pray to God
give back my happiness
it's the only thing that i have.
a prayer saved for resurection day
another holiday. like the one just past
when Jesus said whats first will be last
on that day they say the trumpet will blast
then i'll have you back, finally at last
but now our wretched souls must wait
God bless that day for my sake
i want so much to have you back

I am so very sorry you lost someone dear. I am acquainted with this kind of loss: husband, two brothers, first cousin, beloved brother in law, all in 2000. The heart has an empty space, times 5. Nothing fills it, but we go on and do what we came here to do. If I had some way to do it, I would send you my last poetry book, subject of loss. website nolaperez.com aka Citrine As to coffee, only one cup a day feet on the floor. c'est tout

I won't tell you that "time heals all," because I more than anyone know that it doesn't. The thoughts and memories will always be there... However it is faith that shall get you through this my friend. Best of luck..... Love, Maya =)

Dear John, did you know your name means, the grace of God? Yes, thats the meaning of your name my friend, so you know God's grace is forever on you, so chin up and bask in His grace. Love and mercy to you my friend. Joy (Jew)

You will always have these memories, John, and one day they will cause less pain. You know you're always in my prayers. And as you say in this touching poem, your souls will be reunited in heaven. Very moving poem, dear friend. Much love, Carolyn

I know words don't do much to console, John, especially during this period of grief but keep holding on to faith and the hope that you will see your love again. God bless. Love, Audrey
