Coming Out

Please don't be unkind
Silence is driving me out of my mind
These closet doors has me blind
Shame and blame is not apart of my name
I am still the same
So why is mankind
So eager to give blame
Can't you see
I am tired of these hiding games
There is no aim
There is nothing here to gain
My life is not a game
Who I am
Has nothing to do with fame
All I want is to be able to live my life
Without ridicule and going insane.

Pat, to hold a prejudice is like weighing the facts with your thumb on the scale.
