Coming of Age

At an early age
I figured out who I was
With the passing age
Learned things about myself
That I never knew before

With each year moving
I noticed feelings inside
Both emotional
And physical I captured
Within my groin and my brain

My body grew up
I got more mass and more height
I became the man
I was supposed to become
I’m finally an adult

Looks like a good entry for Frank's contest. All three verses appear as formidable tanka poems.
