Sprawled on the floor

Reading the comics

The characters
Both colorful and exciting

Variety    inviting

Loving the comics

Hoople and Martha
Tracy and his Tess
Every Sunday
They’re in such a mess

Laughing at the comics

Mutt and Jeff
Mutt so tall
Jeff like Stan Laurel
Vacuous and small

Needing the comics

Sunday’s rest
A chance to renew
Popeye    Alley Oop
Blondy    Valiant too

Linda-Marie Sweetheart January 20, 2011 at 6:50 AM The comics will never die Dave.. and u have give them super life with this write.. a great reference to Popeye and Blondy.. remember them from my parents reading them on Sunday papers... great one ..Mutt and Jeff.. good one too.. my friend.. enjoyed .. and yes faith as a pavilion right out of Psalm 18 .. it struck me so I had to write ...haha..u know the feeling luv....
