Comforting Peace

Comforting me is peace that God does grant
With His love making my heart jubilant
Assuring my day with a serene mind
               Labouring as His triumphant servant.

I need my Saviour’s peace every moment
To grip me midst stewardship engagement
Dispelling thoughts of anguish and distress
               Subduing unbelief’s predicament.

With the peace* of Christ in me prevailing
I’m ensured of great victory’s sealing
          Upon His Scriptures, failing never
Midst harsh crises along fright's grueling.

*2Thessalonians 3:16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means.
