Comfort

angel wings are healing things
just as snow from tree limb swings
voice of brilliant silence sings
heavenly song comfort brings

friends and family come - go
just as tracks in melting snow
hope and hymn are friend not foe
move in time not fast nor slow

give to Him your faith and love
know His plan is shaped above
trust He guides with gentle glove
give your tears to mourning dove

By the time I reached the mourning dove, I felt soothed, like someone had placed a hand on my shoulder and said, “You’re not alone in this.” We are expecting 15+ inches of snow this weekend. Amen!
