Comes Now the Hush
Comes now the hush of white flowers
as borealis crawls into the night,
my spirit enfolding light
of incandescent earthly bowers...
clayed marbles tint the hours
dazzling me with budding sprite,
comes now the hush
And to feel sand and air in a weave
the unwrapping of moon is bright,
my breath and fire swoon to recite...
"dear inner god, grant me reprieve,"
comes now the hush
