Comes An Angel's Light

The moon shadows the trees faltering my thoughts as gray and blue starbright falls in my window. I am alone. I am alone. Hungry for talk but fearful of touch. The taking of souls; bitterness of the past threatens me like a thief in the night. I am afraid. I am afraid. Yet as the silence deepens and darkens my view there flies an angel and I am swept away in magnificent light. I am alright. I am alright.
