Real comedy is bold it's straight and blunt there's no white gloves or polite niceties Real comedy is harsh without playing dirty it smacks you in the face and punches in the gut Real comedy is dark looks head on at society points out what's wrong and shoves it in your face Real comedy is hot enrages those with a soul infuriates those who claim to have a conscience Real comedy is cold sure it gets laughs make no mistake it's on a mission Real comedy is brash addresses those who care to make a difference and want to change the world posted on April 1, 2025

I love comics and comedy and dark humor, its a way to cope and also, when is controversial topics for me it opens people up to be discuss what is sometimes hard to discuss, well done.

Real comedy is all that. Loved the old time tv comedians for the language was cleaned up. When I saw Don Rickles as the opener for Frank Sinatra, I wanted to climb under the bleachers…he was much more fun and funny on tv. Though a jailbird now, Cosby was hilarious. He built on his jokes…I couldn’t catch my breath. I also saw the genius Robin Williams.

I totally understand! We mostly watch dry bar comedy which is clean.

Agreed. I refuse to go to those comedy bars because we can expect the worse. Not fun.
