Come With Me

My love you are the morning star
you shine brighter than others do
My love you have graced my life
You make me think things that can't come true
If I could halt this weary time
And cross the waters of the sea
I would do this and much more
If you would just be with me
My love I don't have much time now
I must finish the work that must be done
But remember this, my true love
In later time, I will run
If you would but come with me
And forget your life of pain
I would create for you, my dear
a rainbow, in this rain
For there is a brighter day
In your troubled life
That will be with you forever more
If you will stay in mine

I think we've all experienced these feelings, of finding someone so special, that we never want to let them go. I've said this before: I enjoy it when a poet expresses a universal sentiment of the human condition. Well done; kudos :)
