Come Walk With Me
Come and walk with me
climb with me the greatest hill
yet should I run from your flame
should I burn my dreams
with your eternal, fire light
or cool love without desire
my heart creates dreams
my love glows with lovers flame
yet I can not trust the dream
the battle rages
fight we struggle on survive
dreams are lost to alcohol
surrender now peace
the silent rage of battle past
night falls the battle lives on
I am wiser now
having learned from many fights
yet an idiot never learns
