Come On She Urged Fun Is What You Need

Let’s rhyme today Trixie said. She thumped me soundly on my head. Tweet Tweet Tweet Twee. Bleat Bleat Bleat Blee. Let’s dance around the poetry tree! I was not in a mood to think or see What my muse clearly had in mind for me. I am dour and damp and dark and dreary. She was putting my mood into a fury. Let’s not today; it would be a pain. My day is full of gloom and rain. Trixie would not hear of this for sure. She jumped on my shoulders and gave a purr. Come on! She urged. Fun is what you need. She danced the dance of Johnny Appleseed. Rhyming. Ugh! How boring I said. I was lying like concrete, about half dead. I am not in the mood. Leave me alone. But of course, she wrote up this damned poem.

Thank you Paulette. My mother and I watched an Old Carol Burnette show once and she turned and said "Carol Burnette always reminds me of Caren". I did not say anything, because Carol Burnette was MY mother!

Trixie is spinning her hat in the air and riding her purple pony around in the ring in a dancing kind of way to celebrate.
