Come For Me, Love
Come for me, Love, in a July
When summer surf is running high
Watching steamers on the sea’s crest
Like we did from our lovely nest
On the beaches in old Dubai.
Since you are gone, I often try,
As I watch fancy yachts go by,
To choose one you would like the best
Come for me, Love.
Thoughts of you, my tears never dry
After all these years, I still cry,
Life, for me, has lost fonder zest
Since you went to eternal rest
I long to join you when I die,
Come for me, Love.
