Come Find Me

 Feeling numb
Succumbing
To this dumb
Feeling...overcoming…
The waves of emotions,
Intruding you and I
We are like aquatic oceans…
We choose to live or die

Feeling numb
I am this worthless crumb…
I’m sorry I disappointed you so
I’m sorry in advance for my woe
I am this useless sore thumb
Feeling numb

Come find me…
I’ll be in the vineyard of vivacious comfort
Come find me…
I’ll be in the vicious weeds of drenched dirt

Come find me,
Feeling numb and you can’t tell
Come find me,
Feeling dumb; does it ring a bell?

I am lost without you
Boldness bruised me too
Anguish - I wish it would leave…
I don’t want to grieve...I want to breathe…
You are still hanging on my sleeve
Shyness says I’m so blue
Who knew I’d be lost without you

 I am numb and empty
Set me free from captivity
I am your butterfly, you see?
I am who I want to be…
So, let me be me…
Come find me,
Endless opportunities
Come find me,
Eustress and possibilities
