My beloved speaks and says to me:
“Arise, my love, my beautiful one,
and come away,
11 for behold, the winter is past;
the rain is over and gone.
12 The flowers appear on the earth,
the time of singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove
is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree ripens its figs,
and the vines are in blossom;
they give forth fragrance.
Arise, my love, my beautiful one,
and come away. Song of Solomon 2: 10 forward
.
My Beloved does speak
Arise my love
Come away
In my spirit, I hear Him say, come, come go with me
Yes, my Love, I will follow You anywhere You lead me
Only through Your gift of grace, can I follow You though
I can see the gates swing wide, and the beauty from inside
As He takes my hand, and upon pure gold I stand, dazzled
The heavenly sights, the heavenly sounds, and people surround
All the loved ones who have gone on before, ancestors unknown
People who are blood kin, those who adopted me into their fold
So many to love me draw me in, give the love that was missi'n
Grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts and uncles, cousins, too
Stack upon stack who I never knew, and years upon years
I am given to explore, all of those that have gone before
Only through the shed blood of my Lord and Savior
Dying on the cross, He did me the greatest favor
In His lovin' arms I can relax and be laid back
He understands me from the inside out
Knows my thoughts and motives
Nothing I can hide from Him
He loves with agape love
He loves me as I am
Accepts me
And calls
Come
