Come Again, Sweet Love
I feel it so often,
Its like you never left.
My heart throbs to the ghost of you,
My mind reels back and forth,
To the places we've never been before.
Oh my darling! Yet, why do you feel like such a dream?
Like sand slipping out of my hand.
Why do you have to leave?
Stay my darling, stay with me.
For my heart will become a bitter place,
Without you.
For you have been like a beacon,
Guiding me towards happiness.
I miss your arms around me,
And the way your lips found mine.
Make love to me,
Like the ocean in a storm,
Blow in fiercely like the wind,
As the thunder strikes somewhere far.
Carry my inhibitions away,
And the distress that I have been in.
Let the clouds clear for the sun to shine.
Let our love find forever,
Let our love be divine.
