Colours
Strolling in a garden
Beauty of the flowers
Roses, geraniums and all.......
So beautiful and inviting to the eyes
Shades of red, white and yellow
God's touch, God's architecture.
Mingling among fellow men
The black, white, yellow and coloured
All modeled to God's liking.
Then I made discovery
Like plants we belong to one family
Colour is only but a shade.
Next time you judge me by colour or race
Be reminded stems are our bones
Barks and sap our flesh and blood.
Skin colour our petals.
Painted by God's gift
In many lovely ways.
