-Colourless World

I love colour, it lifts and brightens my spirit for sure and makes everything so much more appealing. I just wish we all was able to see it. Emilia : )

I am with you on loving coluyrs. Outside and in. If poets dont get it,,,go watch a black and wjite monie from the 1940’s on TV, But they used shadow and darkness for effect! Good one, Deb!pangie Romios

I have thought about those who cannot see color and wonder what it must be like for them, then one day I saw a person who never could see color be given the gift of being able to see it and they cried because of what they were now seeing. Thanks for sharing this work with us. Sara K

Sweet Deb, what a delight this lovely poem is to enjoy and read and how true! I love the line,’ For colouring our earth …. beautiful and bold’ especially. We do take so much for granted but every time I see a gorgeous rainbow I still get excited! Thank you for reminding just how important colour is in our lives and how it enhances it. A colorless world will be so dull ! Flowers are made beautiful with their varying shades. A world of monochrome will definitely lower our spirits. Great observation dear Deb.

Seeing in color is one of the gifts to most humans. I like the rhetorical first segment , followed by a shout of affirmation for love of sighted colors.
