Colourful

Colourful are the days spring brings, Butterflies spread their colourful wings, Birds happily sing, Newness takes flight. Colours are on display, Naked and frail boughs bloom, Hope, joy and beauty pervade every room, They in turn replay. There's an awakening, There’s a soul-lifting brightening, Gloom rescinds, Light succeeds. Flowers showcase their loveliness, We are captivated by their tenderness, Colourful are spring days, A harbinger of new ways. February 4, 2023. Write Challenge - C Words - Poetry Contest, Constance La France.
