Colour of My Heart

COLOUR OF MY HEART
The shimmering sky slides on the blue sea at the dreamy dawn in the sunburst hour, the gilded waves break and spread tints on me I follow your footprints filled with colour. The foliage forms a flaming canvas, multihued motif on it autumn weaves. With the breeze bracing the dew's glint on grass I trace your painted trail on rustling leaves. Pink clouds dissolve at twilight's gleamed portal, colours fall as melted rainbow shower on blooming flowers, on their tinged petals I sense your scent glide in the glowing air. Searching you in flushing meadow I fly with my heart turning into butterfly.

What strikingly beautiful images you pain in your sonnet, Subimal. Each verse is composed with the tender heart of a talented poet. A pleasure to read! Best wishes for the holiday season, Carolyn
