Colour of My Heart
My heart shows human-nature’s sin-colour
Of selfishness tints and arrogance hues
Brightened by scarlet greediness ardour
Stained with lurking false humility’s blues.
Thus, I confess to God Who knows me well
From His omniscience, never can I hide
I thank His pardon of compassion-swell
My heart He transforms thru faith-power’s tide.
Imparted now with divine holiness
By the redemption-blood of the Saviour
My heart spiritually shouts loving kindness
Reflecting, radiating good behaviour.
With a cheerful heart*, glowing in God’s grace
I’ll share blessings’ goodness with every race.
*Romans 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
