Colors of My Soul

Can you see the colors of my soul?
can you look within eyes
behind my tears
and see my dreams unfold?

A poet’s words are colors
revealing, pure and true
some words are blue with sorrow
some words are bright and new.

My dreams are mixed with rainbows
my mornings drenched with light
my days are varied colors
that fade into the night.

Come share my soulful colors
and bring me yours as well
together may we paint the skies
in harmony to dwell.
