Colors
“COLORS”
when they ask, "who's he?"
you're never sure what those
responses will be.
two kinds of people in my life
and it's been undeniably clear
as to who I stick with.
for those that have betrayed
me, laughed at me, ran their
mouths about me, stabbed me
in the back and left me out in
the cold, they answer, "that's
Eddie."
for those that have stayed loyal
to me, defended me, slapped the
mouths that ran, pulled the knife
from me and offered help even
where there couldn't be any, they
answer, "that's Eddie, he's been
through some ****."
93% of the time we assess
our situations, we create areas of
gray.
pull the black and white.
gray cannot exist here.
you're with it or you're against it.
kick up dust but always keep
your shoes clean.
there's never any room to mix
mud.
