Colored Blue
(an origional song)
solids and liquids
paintings and sounds
a stockpile of weapons
and plenty of rounds
i found
questions and answers
paper and words
i found what i wanted
in a song i once heard
yellow bird
circles and lines
a lock with no key
you chain me all up
and head out to sea
i plea
whispers and screams
disappears but stays
my weapons aimed at theives
the trigger no one playes
for roberts, ryans, rays
why do i always miss my chance
i feel like i'm being sawn in two
it's like i'm always in a trance
i feel like i'm being colored blue
i feel i'm being colored blue
there is no shade to hide this thing i've turned into
i feel i'm being colored blue
it's not the same for me, is it for you?
