Color Me

Orange like the sunrise we watched in Barcelona
That one hot summer mornin’
Red like the pretty roses you gave me
On our one year anniversary
White like my skintight wedding dress
You said it was oh so classic

So color me impressed
With the pink lipstick on your neck
That isn’t mine...
And color me impressed
With your boring purple tie
That she likes…
Did you think I wouldn’t find out
After all, you took the color out my life
Now everything feels black and white
So color me impressed.

Blue like the realistic fake tears you cried
When I threw you out of my life
Green the true epitome of jealousy
When I was crying out in envy
Red the only the color that I’m seeing
Afterall I want you dead darling

So color me impressed
With the pink lipstick on your neck
That isn’t mine...
And color me impressed
With your boring purple tie
That she likes…
Did you think I wouldn’t find out
After all, you took the color out my life
Now everything feels black and white
So color me impressed.

Now the world seems so gray
Lifeless...colorless…
Now the world lacks beauty
Lifeless...colorless
