Color, Contrast and Charisma
Stark and misty gray,
even the gentle breath of a distant blue sky,
only heightened the chill.
Empty and shallow, the canvas was bleak,
a lifeless terrain.
And then, one day I met you.
It was as though a
blossoming Dogwood, suddenly came into view.
The landscape changed.
Gray gave way to pink.
The image was startling.
As buds burst forth in their sensual glory
to capture the eye, so you captured me.
Everything changed.
I saw my life emerge
from the dreariness of monotone,
to a palette of visual vibrancy.
Color, Contrast and Charisma to forever
paint my horizon.
