Notes About The Poem

There was a time before marriage, one of making up your own mind, settling into the quintessence of day, enjoying a solo moment unhindered by even a dream, just a restful moment before your life takes off.

Collegiate Times

freedom in green blades
the softest sprig of Spring
brains before marriage
stretched out under brightest sun
nestled in serenity

Kim, this is indeed, a nice poem of solitude.

Kim, yes....if we were self confident at that time it could be wonderful. I think I was terribly anxious at that time and it was very difficult. Now seems much better.

Glad you are not as anxious. Fighting off the surround sound of anxiety and fear, leaning in on my hope in Jesus.
