Cold Water 3-7-03

Alone she sat With only her pains in mind Everyday she thought about life And the ones she loves And yet she was alone There was no one there, she realized Sadly, the truth kicked in. She started doubt everything and everyone Where were they when she needed them? Alone was good she told herself And yet even she knew she was lying She went to the sink And splashed her face with cold water Alone she walked away.
