Cold War

I hear it was a war
a war that was cold
was it fought in winter?
in cold weather?

I hear it was a war
a war that was cold
was it fought hesitantly?
by those with cold hearts?

I hear it was a war
a war that was cold
was it fought quietly?
with frozen weapons?

This Cold war confuses
may be ghosts fought it
