Cold Heart

Tonight,
I wear this cold heart on my sleeve and pray...

For the warmth of tender words from a friend
For the keys to the prison of my weary mind
For the whispers of your voice in the wind
For the devastating touch of eternity
For the silence that heals the madness
For the unspeakable answers beyond comprehension
For darkness to be smothered in the embrace of light
