Cold Blue

In the forest dark and deep I found myself falling and weep Heard your name in the breeze Wade through your shadows in my heart I freeze In the moon's pale light, I saw your smile view Beautiful yet haunting in the cold blue A quiver in my voice in the dark I cried Hoping you still stayed by my side When gazing into the night sky I remember the love I felt in your eye My favorite reflection was in yours I agree Now I am just broken hiding behind my poetry Your memories slowly fade with the night Waiting for the warmth of the daylight Still Lost in the darkness fallen apart Am just a fallen soul with a painted heart
