Coke Is It

Thirsty? I wonder, well I’ll pop my top. I’ll hiss and you’ll sigh the fun just won’t stop. I’d like to teach the world to sing, really it’s no joke. For I’m the pause that refreshes, yup Coca-Cola is Coke! Good to the last drop, you know it’s true. The best combination Is Red, White and You! Coke adds to life wherever you are. Just have a Coke and shazam, you’re a star. I am as pure as sunlight for all folks see; your passport to refreshment; so just what will it be. Let me share a wee secret there’s no need to be coy. Just open a Coke, then sit back and ENJOY. I’m the favorite drink for all sorts of folks. You just can’t deny it, things go better with Coke. And you can’t beat the feeling; so don’t throw a fit. When you’re feeling Thirsty, Look to me, COKE IS IT!

Dean, I LOVE THIS!!! In my final stages of judging I looked to my heart, which poem would I want to indulge in over and over and over again. This one POPped to the top. The whole package perfect. I have always preferred Coke over Pepsi; it's just more refreshing; especially in the Summertime. I remember the old glass bottles it used to come in; I just sold a couple of them a while back. Anyway, I now have a new favorite poem, "Coke Is It". Thanks for the great memories of such a super drink.

I have to agree, I was always a Pepsi person growing up then I took the Pepsi Challenge and found out I like Shasta Cola best. Saved me lots of money! Thank you for your comment.

I hear down south, they actually ask for coke when they simply mean "soft drink" and then the waitress has to ask which flavor. So I suppose they could ask for coke and then say, "a pepsi please?"
