Cocktails For One

COCKTAILS FOR ONE

Opening the kitchen cabinet for a morning cocktail, line em up in a row
one two three four five on the counter as the smell of am coffee brews.
Down the hatch they go, five for breakfast, two with lunch, one more
for dinner and two at bed time, three cheers for me whomever I used to be.

Wow, another real and deep poem Debbie! Alcohol, it kills, but it only temporarly makes you forget, I know, I struggled with the bottle a couple times and I'm only 18 years old! I know, I know, but my heart was hurting. A powerful write Debbie, your still you, no matter what happens, remember that. :) xoxo
