Cock-A-Doodle-Dont

So, would you tell me Sir, what can’t a labradoodle do
You’ll never hear a labradoodle Cock-a-doodle-do
Neither will a wallaby or skippy kangaroo
Nor anything not chicken, and not a cockatoo

Huskies and Alsatians, they don’t figure in equations
You’ll never see them mouthing off at the United Nations
Or acting as the acting head of covert operations
Though they might do a better job if aided by Dalmatians

So why is it that all the news, whichever news you view
Shows Downing Street or Washington without further ado
Where some bloke with a flag behind him speaks at me and you
But when I listen all I hear is Cock-a-doodle-do

Thanks, Jan. As i intimated to Carolyn, it was kind of an itch that had to be scratched. Glad it worked. Terry

LOL You are so clever, Terry, and you have cornered the market on this type of humor. (Maybe Dalmatians would help!) When politicians speak, I often hear the sound Charlie Brown's teacher makes. Might as well by cock-a-doodle-do! Awesome! Hugs, Carolyn

Thank-you, Carolyn. One of those little rhymes (cock-a-doodle-doo/labradoodle do) that once it’s in your head it won’t leave you alone until you do something with it. Chuffed that you liked it. Terry
