Cloudy Weather
I've walked miles in the rain & have stayed
dry because of my faith
It sheltered me throughout the downpours
making me immune to the wetness
I commune with the stressors the weather brings
& have come to adore
what they add to my plate
Take what's given & use it as if all things added
are good in the kingdom that's come
We are one with the weather so waste not
a single drop of rain, sleet, or snow
& allow the residue it leaves to
pile & grow
Fall in & file the stones under "use for a rainy day"
banking them along with the
rain checks life offer along the way
All I see are sunny days ahead in the midst
of the rain despite what the forecast
offers in good faith because
I understand patterns
Know that your seasons come & go according
to your faith &
whether you believe that or not
has nothing to do with
the matter
Some things just are & will be according to the
laws that govern this world
as well as the next
Be well as you're blessed with a well overflowing
with faith that can overcome
any rain that comes
I've walked miles in the rain & it's the faith
that pours from me that keeps
me dry & fearing not any
storm that comes
