Clouds

Looking at the sky up above. Setting sun obscured by a blanket of clouds. Thick, dense, grey. Not willing to budge. Seems they’re here to stay. Don’t let it fool you! Darkness never lasts long. All it takes is a breath of wind and a beam of light. … Stretch marks form. Reluctantly it happens. Clouds rupture. Torn to shreds. Broken yet magnificent. Soaked by color. More beautiful than ever. Change takes time. Let it happen. All it takes is a breath of wind and a beam of light.

this is gorgeous, how you did the second part with the description of wind and light taking over to make that change. Awesome writing!!

Thank you. It was a multi-layer motivational concept triggered by a spectacle I witnessed as I was driving. Light first only shining through cracks only to finally overpower darkness :)
